Like Wallace ever runs over the middle?

Sanders isn't as fast as Wallace. We know this. What we do not know is if he can truly be a better X WR or not. To this point we have not been given the opportunity to see if he can or not. Anyway, I wasn't arguing that Sanders was a better WR than Wallace....merely that he could potentially be able to provide said "splash plays" that, apparently, can only be pulled off by Mike Wallace.

It's a cost versus production thing for me. Want to get paid like Larry Fitzgerald? Produce like Larry Fitzgerald. Want to get paid like a guy who drops as many passes as he has this year and doesn't crack 1,000 yards? Play like Mike Wallace did in '12.

And he doesn't have the excuse of playing with Ryan Lindley/John Skelton for most of the year in '12 like a Fitzgerald did. He shat the bed. Badly. Since the midpoint of last year he has not been the same guy he was his first couple of seasons.

If he's willing to play for a contract that pays him as a lower-tier top 10 WR he's well worth that. He is not going to be worth a contract that pays him as if he's top 5(or top 2, as he was gunning for). Don't hate the guy, just can't see paying him that much scratch. He's good. Maybe even very good, as long as he speed holds. He's not great.

I don't see Manny Sanders being able to get that many splash plays, homey. Lets hug.
