I recently purchased a new dell precision 690 for some home networking projects around the house. For Christmas I received a new video card and 16 gigs of RAM to throw into the machine.


So here is where I need suggestions. I'm looking to download a free fps game for testing purposes, before I put the new video card in. Then I want to run the game again after the ram is inserted and then one more time after both are inserted to gauge how much the RAM helped the System and how much the RAM helped the system.

So what i'm looking for is a good fps game that I could download for this purpose (I don't own any). It could be just 1 map or level or whatever. Also, I would like it to be free or cheap.

Any suggestions?
