Blocking the brightcove ad on the right

I've got pretty much all the other ads blocked (sorry KFFL but I'm not buying usatoday) but that one won't stay blocked. The address appears to be dynamic so it doesn't stay blocked with AdBlock for Chrome.

    Any ideas?

I'm using FF here, but perhaps there is a comparable extension/method for Chrome.

I see only blue space in the right sidebar. In addition to AdBlock, I also run NoScript and am blocking scripts from bnqt.com (and some others present here, such as from tynt.com, quantserve.com, criteo.com and scorecardsearch.com).

Allowing it to play keeps KFFL alive. USA TODAY owns us, so it's not a matter of buying a USAT subscription. We appreciate your patience. It won't be there long.

I understand that.....but I figured out how to block it :-)

Doesn't really affect either one of us, since I'm not clicking on it or buying it.

It bothered me at first, but now I don't even pay it that much attention. I've accepted it as part of this site, but, psychologically, I've just zoned it out. Sorry, Cory.

I don't hear it at work, because I keep my computer muted, but it was more than a little annoying at home before I finally redownloaded Adblock.

I didn't know that. I knew you'd joined some fantasy sports roll-up, but not that the whole thing is owned by Gannett.
APF doesn't come in screaming at others about how stupid they are. APF doesn't spam NST with the same tired topic 30 times a month. APF doesn't link to some kook in his mom's basement telling you how to, "Be afraid. Be very afraid" of the world falling down around you. And, when APF is proven wrong, he acknowledges he made a mistake and moves on, rather than harping about "sheeple."

USA Today owns this site? That explains things as they have completely f'd up their site on a tablet. Doesn't bother me too much. I just view KFFL on the phone anymore. No ads...yet.

Not all ad's generate money on clickthrough. Just getting it in front of your eyes can generate revenue.

    I purchase everything KFFL advertises.

I just joined the Navy, joined the KFFL Fantasy Football site, and am on my way to buy a GMC Sierra Pickup.

Thank you, KFFL, my life is full now.

Are you still having problems scoring or did KFFL fix that too?

With the previous Sophia Vergara picture they used for their ad, KFFL helped me to score all by myself.

Thank you, KFFL, I will forever type with one hand while visting your site.

Too many better free forums out there to get all bent up about ads on this one, imho. When a sidebar purely for ads takes up 25% of the useable screen, you don't really want to post here much... Case in point my hilariously small post total compared to, say, HFBoards.
