Eagles cave, decide to pay Mike Patterson

I am glad about this. Screwing this guy out of 150k really seemed in poor taste, when as this columnist points out, they are paying stiffs like Nmadi huge coin to field the worst Philly pass D in recent memory. Mike Patterson can't help that he needed brain surgery and got pneumonia. I never thought Patterson was that good but cutting his money like that when he was clearly down on his luck just seemed cold-hearted to me.
