The pathway by which it WAS supposedly possible has been demonstrated to be a mathematical impossibility. They've known this for decades. The only thing they've discovered since then has compounded their problem- mutations happen more frequently than they thought, and they have never seen evidence of a mutation that introduces new novel information into an organism's genome. It's a one-way street: genetic destruction and genomic degradation.

Yet they're still clinging to their faith-based beliefs................

Yeah, They're clinging so hard, they'll probably continue to do new research in the area. Stale, dogmatic, echoing the same beliefs for centuries. Go figure.
