Wallace Loses Focus

It pisses me off when I hear crap like this. If you figure each team gets the ball for a half hour about half of which are runs so MW only has to really concentrate for about 15 minutes a freaking week? What is he: a poster child for ADD? Cut the crap - you're getting paid a lot of money to keep your head in the game and catch the ball. Just do it!

I said before the season that Wallace was on his last legs as a Steeler. He has far to big of an ego apparently to fit in with this org.

And really, he is still very much a one trick pony. Don't get me wrong, his speed and ability to create space underneath is probably unmatched, but frankly it's not near enough to justify paying him 10M per season, or even what Brown makes. He doesn't run routes as well as the younger Brown, his hands have turned into stone (were never that great to begin with) and his lack of physical play lends itself to being let go. Guy turtles anytime he gets near a defender.

With Sanders showing more than enough, Wallace is expendable, especially when you factor we can sign Sanders long term for a quarter of what Wallace wants/will get paid.

Plus, we've obviously proven that we can find big time talent in the middle to late rounds of the draft, at the WR position (Ward, Wallace, Sanders, Brown etc). Going into next year, we have the top 3 spots locked down (Brown, Sanders, Cotchery). With Miller, i'd have no problem with that group of pass catchers. As Ben has said in the past, getting a physical, big WR should be a priority in rounds 3-6.

Excuses at like aholes and Wallace is his own excuse right now. Shut up and get your head out of your Arse Wallace. He should be embarrassed to admit that.

The only thing he has done this season is drive his price down even further.
