Jones is used as a pass rusher 90% of the time from what I've seen. No clue if he could adjust to a 4-3 as there is very little tape of him dropping into coverage. I love Ogletree whom Georgia plays as a MLB, but has all the skills to shift to OLB in a 4-3 system (better fit for him at the pro level imo). If we could get Ogletree in a trade down, we can start him at SAM and put Kenricks at WIL. Jones at this point is strictly a 3-4 rush backer. I agree with Wings, I see Ogletree being the better pro in the end.
Good player, bad fit. If we go 3-4 maybe, but I'd rather have Manti Te'o in that scenario where we go 3-4. Kendricks and Te'o at MLB, Curry/Graham/Cole/Hunt at OLB.
I think Ogletree is also playing out of position at Georgia ... he's not an inside type LB although that's where they have him out of necessity. He talents are so much better used in space than fighting thru the garbage in the middle.
