Maybe a better question would be "Why does God exist"? And "why did he leave us so many un-answered questions"? Its like he forgot to give us the instruction manual... maybe he worked at an Ikea shipping department before becoming God?

I imagine most people would link 'What's the meaning of life?' or 'Why am I here?,' as having something to do with the relationships they have, and would also include some variation of the word 'love' in the answer.

"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs." - Kung fu Monkey
