Now it's not just a former Republican governor who's on the outs with the party; it's also a former state party chairman who's also on the outs, and one or more anonymous consultants as well. They're all saying that voter suppression was an explicit and widely-shared plan.

They do generally deny racism beyond the level of "Blacks won't vote for us no matter what, it seems, so best they not vote at all."

I'm not saying that isn't the reason (because I have no idea, nor do I care), but seriously? Those might be the two worst sources to prove this borderline conspiracy theory.

Charlie Christ was governor from 06-10. He then ran as an independent in 10 and lost. He is currently planning on running in 14 as a Democrat. He surely has nothing to gain by painting the Reps in a bad light. Nope, nothing at all.

According to the article, Jim Greer is under indictment for stealing 200k in fundraising money. I'm sure he really feels love from the Reps after they outed him.

The article claiming they are "on the outs" is a gross understatement in both cases.

Lastly, NO ONE lost their chance to vote. It was scrapped for the last election. Now everyone who is a legitimate voter has 2 years (or 4 if they only vote presidential) to rectify the situation if a mistake was made. If that's not enough time then I'm sorry but you are lazy.
