I think most of us Hawk fans are hoping Thurmond gets healthy and stays healthy to play the slot instead of Trufant. I've been a fan of him since he came into the league but he's a shadow of himself these days.

Even Lane looked pretty good in the slot if needed.

I'd be far more impressed if the bulk of the country wasn't disagreeing with him. I could see discrediting the rest of the world but most of America seems to disagree with him and Americans watch football.

It doesn't matter much one way or the other to me. I look at that link as well as rookie of the week awards and pro bowl voting as popularity contests and who's fashionable to like at the time. Truth be told, I'd prefer that Wilson or Luck win it as I think it will add incentive to Griff wanting to prove himself.
