Rank these WRs for the rest of the season

Trade deadline is Thursday at kickoff.

    12 teams, PPR, 3 bonus points for TDs over 40 yards, 1/50 return yards. Start QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, TE, 1 OFlex (RB/WR/TE), K, P, 2 DL, 2 LB, 2 DB, 1 DFlex, 6 bench.

    QB - Brady
RB - T Rich, Douggie Martin, Steven Jackson, Michael Turner, Quizz
WR - AJ Green, DJax, Steve Smith, Cecil Shorts
    TE - Witten
    K - Bryant
    P - Lechler
DL - Elvis Dumervil, Robert Quinn, Geno Atkins
LB - Willis, Poslunsky, Derrick johnson
DB - Barron, Weddle, Kurt Coleman

Even before Vick was injured and Desean's value plummeted, I was thinking I needed a solid #2 WR. I've been setting up a deal for Eric Decker, but recently Andre Johnson, Dez Bryant, and Jordy Nelson have come on the block. The owner of Johnson, Bryant, and Nelson is a pain in the ass to deal with sometimes and won't mind giving up picks, but he'll ask for 2 or 3 smaller draft bumps, rather than 1 big one. The owner of Decker is easy to work with, will get a deal done quickly, and owes me since I did what we call a "One Week Deal" for him and didn't charge him a draft bump like I normally do for these deals and told him to remember it when we talk about Decker. So his price should be low compared to the others. Which one of these guys would you go after? Should I look at maybe going after 2 of them? I would be using draft picks as my main trade bait and I have an extra 4th and 5th already from previous deals. We keep 2 offensive players and 1 defensive player, so these picks will be starters or flex possibilities, most likely.
As cliche as it may sound, I'd like to raise another round, and if your bottle's empty help yourself to mine, thank you for your time and here's to life.

Tough call on 3 of those guys:

    I'd probably go
    Decker
    Nelson
    ...
    Bryant

....but only really put Decker up there because of the relative consistancy of him so far this season and the fact that the Broncos schedule from here on out is a who's who of teams that can't play defense. I could see beating him over the next 6 weeks (or however many games is left). I don't trust Bryant enough still to think these last two weeks are the norm....but he too has a cakewalk of a schedule down the stretch.

I would steer clear of Andre Johnson however. Complete fantasy bust this season. Has been so bad that in one of my leagues the owner actually didn't start him last week so he missed his only really good game all year. He has lost a step, the team doesn't need to pass most weeks to win games and they flat out don't look Andre's way in the red zone any longer. Simply put he isn't a top 20 fantasy WR any longer IMO.

....and don't be scared to give up the picks to get it done. If it costs you that extra 4th that you have, that isn't even a top 75 player in the draft next season. And you should be able to recoup it before the draft (assuming this is allowed in the league) by trading a legit keeper to another team before the draft anyways (you will have 4 legit offensive keepers in your format next season when the rankings come out: Brady, Richardson, Martin and Green...some tough decisions waiting for you next year).

I now have a chance to get a 1st round pick this year and next year for doug martin. Would make my keeper choice a little easier and set me up nicely for 2 years. Would it hurt my championship chances too much to do it if I get both decker and bryant?

I would need to know your current standings and payout and buyout amounts to say for sure.

....if you are likely going to finish in the money this season then maybe I do it and set yourself for future years.

Although it depends on the type of player you are too. Some people are only in it for the ring. Myself, being a true gambler, just care about making the most $$$.

Buy in is $100, plus every free agent move is $1. If 2 people or more bid on the same free agent, there is an auction where the loser(s) pay $1 and the winner pays whatever the bid was. We payout about $500 or so to various things (division winners, highest points, pick 'em, survivor, and such. The rest goes to 1st and 2nd (around $750 to first $250 to 2nd). I'm 7-4 and a game up on the guy in 2nd in my division, who I swept, so essentially 2 game lead.

I'll likely still win the division, but my teams have a habit of dominating the regular season and then going one and done in the playoffs. Those draft picks (while probably low) would help me out tremendously. I always draft well and have never had 2 picks in the 1st round. Everything is up in the air this year and I should be playing with house money even if I don't make the finals, considering division, and high point for the week and year and possibly top player overall.

I'm really talking myself into this trade.

    No, don't do it.

I do the easy Decker trade...and stand pat.

You can always trade Doug Martin in the off season...

I can't trade martin in the offseason, that's the thing. We just has a rule change that we can't trade til we decide our 3 keepers (1 has to be a defensive player). That's the only reason I'm considering this deal.

I would probably take that deal since you can't trade Martin later. It would set you up really well for next year and you would still be able to hold AJ Green and Brady which is a solid start. Tough call thou

Just noticed your trade deadline already passed as i posted (EDIT)

    Update...

The Decker deal fell through a couple hours before the deadline. Dude, just pulled out completely. Dez Bryant deal ended up getting finalized about a minute before the deadline. I declined the Martin deal. I gave up Jackson and my 2nd, but got a 5th back. I feel that's pretty solid value.

    Starting Lineup...

    Brady
    Richardson, Martin
    AJ Green, Dez
Flex (Steven Jackson, Michael Turner, Steve Smith, Cecil Shorts)
    Witten
    Matt Bryant, Shane Lechler
    Dumervil, Geno Atkins
    Derrick Johnson, Willis, Poz
    Weddle, Kurt Coleman

I like it. Just hope I don't lay an egg in the playoffs, like I have many times.
