I guess it depends how it is quantified really... But I've heard as low as $5-7 Millions and as high as $30-$40 Million...

Either way, Maryland definately left for the caysh... No doubt about that. Just saying it'd have to be significant dollars to entice UNC to bail on the cushy deal it has set up for itself at the moment...

If we put it in the middle (basically APK's number compared to the range you gave us), I would think most school would move for $20 mil per year.

although maybe not Texas, since the B12 basically bent over for them.

Also understand that UVA and UNC are universities with large endowments (ie... They ain't hurtin' for money in the first place.). That plays a factor and allows them to listen to their alumni who likely don't wish to be a part of a Midwestern-Centric conference...
