Amnesty Thread- For all you lurkers who want to get in on an epic season.

Just sign in here boys and girls - DC and Springstein are quite ugly, but you don't have to see them over the internets.

Opinions wanted - brilliance will be appreciated, but there's no guarantee any of us would recognize it.

I'm pretty sure I'm on record in one of these threads predicting the way this season has gone so far. Slow start, due to the new system and QB, but once we get gelled and firing on all cylinders that we would be a force to reckon with. The only thing keeping me from shouting from the rooftops is the stat that a team with a new starting QB has never won the Super Bowl. But, if there was ever a QB who could buck that trend, he's wearing orange this year.
As cliche as it may sound, I'd like to raise another round, and if your bottle's empty help yourself to mine, thank you for your time and here's to life.

Femurov, with 2 games remaining in the 90-91 season, Jeff Hostetler took over for Phil Simms ( who had broken his foot ) - Hostetler then led the Giants to a SB victory over the Bills, so that sotra qualifies ...

The Giants win was secured by Scott Norwood's "wide right" as time expired ...

( This game, btw, inspired one of my all-time favorite films, Vincent Gallo's "Buffalo 66" )

And for the lurkers out there, please, I encourage you to start posting - nobody here wants to hear me ramble on about movies ;)

It's obvious that you haven't quite made the complete trip into Mingoworld.
I have never understood why it is "greed" to want to keep the money you earned, but not "greed" to take someone else's money---Thomas Sowell

I actually thought about Kurt Warner, but I think the stat was about your starter coming into the preseason or something. I remember hearing the stat when Favre was going to Minnesota or maybe the Jets. And Hostetler had been with the Giants for a while. I meant a QB changing teams.

Christina Ricci in that film. Oh my.
It is the neglect of timely repair that makes rebuilding necessary.

ok, I see what you're saying ... and you're right - if anyone will blaze a new trail, it would be Manning
