made some moves for the playoffs:

Standar scoring. No PPR. 6 Pts rec/rushing TD. 4 pts per passing TD.

Made this deal two weeks ago:

    RB- DeMarco Murray
    RB- Fred Jackson

    for

    RB- Ryan Mathews
    RB- Issac Redman

I never started Jackson and Spiller should see more and more touches from now on. I still think a healthy Mathews for weeks 14-16 will be huge.

    Now I swung:

    QB- Tom Brady
    RB- Alfred Morris
    WR- Lance Moore

    For

    QB- Tony Romo
    RB- Matt Forte
    WR- James Jones

I screwed up taking Brady in round 1. I never take QB's in round 1 and realized after the scoring system was changed to 4 pts/passing TD. I like Morris but RGIII seems to get all the TD's. Moore for James Jones isn't even close IMO especially with Sproles back. Romo has the easiest schedule of all the QB's not named Schaub and I have Palmer to face New Orleans this week.
    My roster:

    QB- Tony Romo/Carson Palmer
    RB- Stevan Ridley
    RB- Matt Forte
    RB/WR flex- Ryan Mathews/James Starks
    WR- Eric Decker
    WR- Jordy Nelson
    WR- James Jones
    TE- Tony Gonzalez
    K- Blair Walsh
    DEF- Matchups
    --Colorado Avalanche
    --San Francisco 49ers
    --Washington Nationals
    --San Antonio Spurs

I guess a lot depends on each teams schedule for the playoffs. in 1 league I have already made the playoffs so before the trade deadline I try to secure some players who have great week 15 matchups for the first playoff game an week 16 for the Super Bowl. (week 15 weighed a little more than week 16 matchup wise)

don't like trading away Brady as Romo is too unpredictable. both have tough week 15 matchups Brady vs 49ers and Romo vs Pit but I like Brady being Brady. Morris also has good matchups vs Cle & Phi, Forte plays GB & Ariz and loses TD's himself to Bush too so I am not sure I woulda traded them away.

Palmer should have a great matchup for the playoffs vs KC then Carolina so that is good. (i actually made a deal to grab McFadden on the cheap due to these matchups and buying low) and week 16 Super Bowl u would have Romo vs the Saints but I just don't trust him and woulda rode Brady even against SF in that tough match but has Jax for the Superbowl.

You know, I do this every year. Me and my brother in law get going on trades at the deadline and after too many whisky's, I made the deal.

I first wanted to un-load Mathews and keep Morris but for some reason I traded him away. I dont really mind trading Brady because the 4 points per TD and I like adding Jones. I think he is an upgrade.

A morning after and a clear head....I dont like the deal!! I dont think I upgraded enough. Ah well. Might as well make things interesting.

I agree with your assessment (the sober one). Especially if Greg jennings and Jordy Nelson come back. JJ would be an afterthought if it happens, which it might come playoff time.
As cliche as it may sound, I'd like to raise another round, and if your bottle's empty help yourself to mine, thank you for your time and here's to life.

yea it's not the worst deal in the world, and you have a good team that can make a run at it so I wouldn't beat yourself up too much about it. you have some positive matchups.
