For the record I do not like Shanny personally. I think he is an arrogant A-hole. I also agree that if they play out the year like they played against Carolina it may be time for a change to a traditional GM/coach. The only reason I was happy with this arrangement from the start was it got us out of the Danny/Vinny show.
How in the world do you put 90% of the blame on others when the other owners clearly warned each other not to do exactly what the Skins were doing? It's collusion but let's not act like little Danny boy hasn't done similar things as an NFL owner.

They were warned, they took the risk, they got the beat down. How is that only 10% their fault?

Also, I was one of the biggest Shanny supporters in here at the beginning. He & Cowher were my top choices. After seeing him in action as a personnel guy I just don't have any faith in him. It's too bad because I think he could succeed as a coach with a good GM. It's obvious from his comments during the bye week about the team heading in the right direction that's he's too arrogant to see the truth.

Because the union should have never agreed to the penalties and without the union's sign off they would not have happened. No doubt that was factored in as the Redskins (and others) decided not to go along with the collussion. And make no mistake, it was collussion. They heard the other owners warn them not to go against the league and decided not to go along with the good old boy's network. The said "this is BS and probably illegal so we're not biting. There is no cap so we are doing nothing wroing" Sorry, I can't say this is such a horrible tactic to take. The owner's original plan was just flat wrong and then the team was sold out by the union leader who was only covering his ass and trying to save his job.

Now the union is trying to backtrack on their decisons by filing a lawsuit so clearly they have changed their position. But as usual they aren't interested in doing what is right, only what will serve them best.
