    I have no problem with the way picks are determined. Each team has something to fight for and it does prevent tanking. Doesnt seem like a joke to me. . .

    Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Sorry it has been crazy and I haven't posted as much. Had an incredible start to the year in all leagues, but only won one league. Luckily it was one of two money leagues. Have a great New Year's weekend and the Knuckleheads will be back stronger than ever!!

    The only alternative I can think of is don't have a bottom bracket and just have the first 4 picks determined by regular season finish? Usually there's a handful of studs at the top of the draft and it's mostly a crapshoot after that anyway.

    Idk, I know I'll never get in the bottom bracket anyway, I'm doomed to always toil in mediocrity and false hope so it doesn't matter to me lol.

    I think you have a shot at the bottom bracket as much as anyone. Only a weak division would really work to make it UNLIKELY, and yours is probably the strongest..

    Yeah, this last year the top picks worked out pretty well with Richardson and Martin, but the year before... Ingram and Thomas? Really? Those were the top picks? And RGIII fell down so much - when he is the guy we should have taken #1.

    And, if you look at it, both the top picks were traded this last year for big packages and that's really what some one in last place needs. Not just a great RB, but a RB, WR, and QB. And that's why trading it is a good idea for a really bad team. But, if you end up with #4, you can still find some good value and something that works to help your team. I just blew it by taking Blackmon - especially if Tebow goes there. Ugh...

    I understand why the rules are the way they are. The "anti-tanking" provision is good to have in newer leagues. I think we've all been around long enough to know that we are better than that. I know this: No one is taking the "Most Injured Roster" trophy from me. Just getting tired of it happening year after year.

    We definitely will. Ill start trying to gather the things we've talked about.

    BTW- I have little issues with the current playoff seeding as well, but I would be okay if we broke it up like a similar league a few of us are in....the bottom 2 ranked teams then have a 2 week playoff to see who wins the #1 seed, and the 3rd and 4th worst ranked teams do the same for the #3 pick. The 5-8 consolation bracket will remain the same. Its a small tweak to the rules, and the playoff scheduling is manual anyway
