    I think the South tried that a long, long time ago and the Federal officers won.

    How many other members are interested in wasting the time and money of Wisconsin taxpapers on such important legislature.

    State legislators tend to be even more craven than federal legislators. They will do ALL sorts of nonsense like this because it will never pass but they get sounds really tough to their nutty voters that they need to get reelected.
