Ricky Watters is Back!

I absolutely LOVED Hershel Walker, as a player and person. But he never quite lived up to his potential and didn't do enough here to warrant a top list ranking. As far as players I loved, i'd put him up there with Westy - but he didn't have the longevity or success warranted. One or two plays doesn't make a list. Anyone remember Buckhalters dive into the endzone where his entire body was out of bounds, but he managed to keep the ball just in bounds to cross the post? AWESOME play. But that doesn't make him a top ranker either.

I still remember garner running all over the eventual sb champs 49ers in route to a blowout 42-6 win in his debut.

Duce was the absolute toughest running back weve ever had here, i dont ever think he was tackled by one player, which is crazy being as though i was bigger than he was when i was in high school lol on top of that he was a class act.

Westy was the first back in my memory that you could argue he was the best in the league. Which is why i have him over others. He and mccoy were our only two guys in my memory that could take it to the house from any spot on the feild in any situation. Duce was powerful but slow,garner was quick but went down too easy and injury prone and waters was inconsistant, one game hed be a monster the next, hes gettin hit in the back on the helmet with a rodney pete flat pass (true story)
