    Slightly off topic--Modified Snake Draft

Years ago was in a league that had 12 teams and did a snake draft, but every 2 rounds the order switched. So round 1 was typical 1 to 12 and round 2 was 12 to 1. Then round 3 it went something like 9,5,8,6,11,10,1,3,12,4,2,7 and then in reverse round 4. Then different again in rounds 5-6, etc.

Anyone else ever seen something like this? Was talking with some friends who were in that league and we were wondering if it was something others had seen as I couldn't find anything on it.
Basic, yes, but it was something we rarely saw under former Bears coordinator Ron Turner. Turner's idea of in-game adjustments involved his boxer shorts. -Rick Morrissey.

    Never heard of it.

I wouldn't even mention it either of my leagues because we always draft using one of our web sites to run the draft (for people who can't make it on the day of the draft...and lately there seems to always be at least 1 person who has to do it online) and it would be a NIGHTMARE to set up around draft time.

So my advice is only bring it up as a potential change if you aren't the one who has to set up the draft.

Yeah. Not even thinking of proposing it since I'm the Commish. Just wondered if anyone had heard of it. We do a mandatory 1 player keeper where you can only keep them for one year and then they go back in the pool. We'd done that before I took over because we were doing the draft in inverse record and didn't want #12 totally screwed. Some talk of going back to no keepers and I had just thought about that draft order during the discussions.

Someone on here brought it up a couple years ago, iirc. Didn't strike me as beneficial in any way. I prefer to know the full order and prepare that way.
As cliche as it may sound, I'd like to raise another round, and if your bottle's empty help yourself to mine, thank you for your time and here's to life.
