Should I accept this trade offer?

    It's a standard Yahoo non-PPR league:

    He wants:
    WR A.J. Green, Bengals
    QB Philip Rivers, Chargers

    He would give me:
    QB Robert Griffin III, Redskins
    WR Stevie Johnson, Bills

On the surface, I could really use the upgrade at QB (my other starters are Tony Romo and Ryan Fitzpatrick) and the step down from A.J. to Stevie is not huge. However, I just get the sense that RGIII is going to get injured any day now the way the Shanahans keep putting him in option offenses that expose him to big hits. Is that paranoid? RGIII certainly is racking up big fantasy numbers.

RGIII's fantasy stats will come down back to earth now that teams are starting to get game film on what the Redskins are doing in much the same ways that Cam's came back down to earth during the 2nd half of last season once teams saw how they were playing.

And yes his injury risk factor is sky high. He has taken some hits 95% of QB's don't get up from and if he continues that way he will not complete the season.

And his running stats right now are off the chart. I doubt he keeps up that pace. And if you half his running totals over these first 4 weeks, he goes from the #1 rated QB to #8 BEHIND Fitzpatrick.

So yeah....I don't do that trade. AJ Green is too good to give up.

I'd do it...I personally don't see Griffin getting hurt and think he is a big enough upgrade over Rivers to give up Green for Stevie.

How many QB's do you start? Your post makes it look like 3?

I start 1 QB, but since Romo and Rivers have stunk, I added a third just to have options.

I have a man crush on AJ Green, so I don't do that deal.
As cliche as it may sound, I'd like to raise another round, and if your bottle's empty help yourself to mine, thank you for your time and here's to life.

I think there are two things working against this deal.

    1) AJ is the biggest stud involved, imo. You want to be the one getting, not giving the stud.

    2) Griffin is someone that if you have him, awesome! Ride him until the wheels fall off. But, I'd be wary of injury and the Cam Newton factor. Newton set the league on fire even bigger than RGIII stat wise, but then teams figured him out and last season/this year he hasn't been the same. RGIII could continue this, but it is at least 50/50 that his stats will come back to the mean.

Yeah, keep Rivers/Romo...and play the match ups weekly.

Romo isn't gonna stink it up badly again...but gotta have a feel for the opponent when playing Rivers/Romo...
