Shady says "McCoy" as he breaks ankles?

According to this report, Lesean McCoy likes to say, "McCoy", as he is in the act of putting a move on someone on the football field, according to a former Pitt defensive teammate.

This indicates a very healthy ego, as well as a sense of humor, and is pretty hilarious if true.

He apparently did not deny it in practice yesterday, whispering "McCoy" while doing a little hitch move in front of a reporter...

Love the attitude and ego ... the kid just likes to have fun. I've gone full circle on Shady ... was one of the first to bring him up as a Frosh at Pitt ... to thinking his game may not translate at the pro level after below average workouts .... to loving him again :) I learned my lesson about putting to much emphasis on workout results.

I did not like the pick after reading his workouts were mediocre and his conditioning suspect. But he has clearly dedicated himself and become a true pro.

Loved him coming out of college, said he had the highest Ceiling of any of the backs coming out that year. I said Beanie Wells was the most NFL ready at that time, but Shady would end up being the best one drafted.

I wonder if he said it to Kenny Phillips when he broke his ankles (sprained mcl actually) last SUnday night. Looks like he is gonna miss this next game as well.

I'll never figure out why so many didnt think he would become a star. All you had to do was look at those lightning quick feet. That and his superb vision.

There's been a lot of guys who look all world in college (speed/quickness wise) and don't do a thing at the pro level. Shady's one of the few who's been able to translate that type of style to his pro game. And his speed is actually just slightly above average ... what makes him as good as he is, is his vision and ability to stop and get back to full speed at the drop of a hat.

It was his feet that sold me. Rare gift. First thing I look at when watching rbs. I couldnt believe how quick they were. Couldnt imagine him not becoming a star as an Eagle

Hopefully we get the pleasure of watching him as an Eagle for a long time...fun to watch. Never know what he will do. Kind of like good ole Barry.
