Heck of a Mea Culpa by Rashaan Salaam

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-to-be-a-bust/

Summary: Salaam tells this years rookies ~"Don't be lazy and unmotivated like I was. Your talent won't get you anywhere if you don't work hard and change your lifestyle once you are in the pro's"

Really nice to see a first round bust take ownership for his careers failure. I hear Charles Rogers is back in court and soon to be on his way to prison for drunk driving again threatening to kill his mother. Apparently he blames her for his failure. Hope he looks good in stripes (but not too good, you know...)

    Impressive, and quite surprising.

Yeah this is a great post and I couldn't agree more with all of your points.

Salaam was supposedly a big pot head in school (I was there same time) and it didn't really surprise a lot of people that he didn't succeed in the NFL. Talent wasn't the problem.
