Annual mel kiper jr wannabe vikings forum draft contest!

    Here we go boys, again.!

I would really like to dedicate this year to Big Easy Vike and maybe think of his family this time of year and say a little prayer for them (if you do) . Mike was always busy draft time, usually with baseball with his son and he would always have me text him the Vikings picks... My favorite reply? "What the **** is a Ryan Cook?" LOL.

    Round 1,(3)
    Round 2,(35)
    Round 3,(66)
    Round 4,(98)
    Round 4,(128)
    Round 4,(134)
    Round 5,(138)
    Round 6,(175)
    Round 7,(210)
    Round 7,(223)

50 pts for correct player, 10 points for correct position. We will award 50 pts for correct player in the round this year as there are many trades.

Good luck as it is the best time of year.

If this happens I'd be ecstatic! Furthermore I'm pretty damn sure it'd go down as one of, if not the best draft in Vikings history.
If Marvin Jones is still there in the 4th and we get him I'd be one happy camper; could be a huge sleeper pick IMO! Cant wait, only a few more days till it goes down.

Vikes had Smith, Adams and Jones on their Senior Bowl roster. I think we will see a big representation our those guys with their picks.

What is great about this version is that we jump ahead of the Cowpies and Jerry Jones gags on his lunch because they were pumped to get Barron.

In his debut, Spielman makes amazing moves and Viking fans are thrilled.

I want to find a way to put Burfect on our team but just can't make the move in my mind yet. I have him on some other versions but not here yet.

Assuming no trades---and I think there is at least a 50% chance of a trade down in round 1--here goes:

    Edited after Cleveland trade announced...

    Round 1,(4) Claiborne, CB
Round 2,(35) K. Wright, WR (see him as a possible dropper)
    Round 3,(66) J. Robinson, CB
    Round 4,(98) M. Martin, S
    Round 4,(99) S. Spence, LB
    Round 4,(128) B. Brooks, OG/OT
    Round 4,(134) M. Jones, WR
    Round 5,(138) E. Acho, LB
    Round 5,(139) J. Chapman, NT
    Round 6,(175) D. Moss, WR
    Round 7,(210) C. Rainey, RB
Round 7 (Cle) M. Veldman, TE
    Round 7,(223) A. Hicks, DT
