The Pens can't prevent any goals. Their defence is pourous and MAF has been awful. Philly is scoring at will. The Pens need a miracle to win this series.

As for Vancouver, they struggled down the stretch, and their play has carried over into the playoffs. The Kings, meanwhile, have been playing playoff hockey for several weeks. The Kings are also a bigger, tougher team, but they're outworking Vancouver right now and Quick is outplaying Luongo by a long shot.

People forget...Vancouver hasnt been very good all year. Outside of 1 or 2 dominant 10 game stretches they just didnt have a second gear to kick it into like last season.

I know it sounds silly saying that about a Presidents Cup team, but it is true.

They won most of their games by being close (4-3, 3-2, 2-1 etc) and they were tight defensively.

Overall it was about as underwhelming a season as you could get out of a 110 pt team. I was worried about them going in.

The ice in the Vancouver-LA game was laughable. How can you even allow a game to be played on that surface?

That ice did blow in the Kings game and its ashame a playoff game can be played with such subpar ice. Thats a joke. As for tonights game, The Rangers eeked one out. I missed most of the Bruins game so I will have to watch highlights. For once the favorites won but the home teams lost yet again and the BLues are up early.
