    trial for Sean Taylor's killer postponed indefinitely

    Has anyone been following this? Is there an explanation for why this piece of trash still hasn't been thrown in the slammer for 15 - 20 years?!?

    I haven't followed it, though I was surprised to read a post here in the Gen Forum I think. That said the killer of ST has yet to go to trial. On the other hand, continuances, either submitted by his lawyer and possibly the DA's office and for whatever reason, aren't all that unusual.

    Yeah some of the others pleaded from what I remember. This clown is still in jail awaiting trial, right? So it's not like he's playing golf OJ style or anything.

    One guy plead out and will testify against the other three. It has been postponed over and over in part because the defendants all keep changing their lawyers. The judge told the gunman the last time that if he changed lawyers again he would not get the trial postponed, but then in fact it did get pushed back - maybe the kid got a better lawyer this time?

    Its all ridiculous, usually these things are over and done with in Florida, this is dragging on way too long.

    County jails have HBO now? Depending on how popular ST still is, ol' dude might have some real issues in prison for sure. He'd still get 3 squares though and in my experience. State prison food is MUCH better than county jail food. And state prison definitely has HBO and other pay cable stations.
