For only a 5th rounder, if Rivers can stay healthy that's a damn good move by the g-men. I would've given up our 5th no problem for him.

Ernie Sims type trade. 5th for former high 1st rounder who hasn't panned out. He's only signed for 1 more year. Good gamble I guess but I'd rather draft a LB high that will be here awhile.

He is always injured, so the Eagles were not going to go in that direction again. They will draft another LB fairly early I'm sure. If they don't trade down, they will just take the BPA at a position where it makes sense. DT;CB; SS;WR.
