    To be honest, the real opening day is when the Red Sox play their first game at Fenway. Today at the Tigers was a pre-opening.

    Although no teams snow areas should open at home the first week of April.

    Little late getting to this thread, but I love the way it is set up. Just something special about opening day, despite how bad the O's are I haven't missed one in almost a decade. Take off work and make a day of it.

    I agree wholeheartedly, although I do admit that MK has a point. I wish there was a full lineup on Opening Day.

    The MLB TV package should be free this first week (it was yesterday on Comcast - starting with channel 621)
