Clearly it was all Mike & Kyle Shanahan's fault that Donovan McNabb failed in Washington. Like Albert Haynesworth, Donovan McNabb did so much better once he was away from these egomaniacs.

Nabby sounds like a jilted ex-girlfriend. Too bad he's one of those guys who can't accept his share of the blame. Shanny does have a huge ego but that doesn't excuse Nabby's poor work ethic.

My take on Nabby and Shanahan is this:

Shanahan was the first to call McNabb out on his crap. Reid coddled the guy.

Shanahan by contrast treated him like a rookie with something to prove, told him he had to work hard like everyone else and change to fit the coach, not the other way around, and McNabb basically acted like an old dog who didn't want to learn new tricks.

Now McNabb is bitter because Shanahan exposed his work habits and essentially got him out of the league.

What makes no sense is that he says RG3 is not a good fit, because of "Egos" playing in DC. Does that mean Luck is the better fit or not a fit as well?

Truth is:

It was Mcnabb who was throwing up in the Super Bowl, can't blame media for that.
It was Mcnabb throwing all those dirt balls all over the field in his supposed "prime" of his career, can't blame media for that.
It was Mcnabb who never made waves to get some real wide recievers on those teams so you can't blame media for that.

And as quite as it was kept, Mcnabb wasn't in great shape for half his career with a gut that looked like he was 6 months pregnant that he tried to hide a lot.

What's wrong with the world right now is greed and no one being accountable for their actions..or lack there of. Mcnabb is a bitter man who never really put the work in to be great and now that his skills have seriously eroded to practically nothing, he wants to blame everybody. But himself.
