I actually like this guy a lot. Good gap perpetrator and may be only getting better. Would come at chump change in comparison to Mario's soon to signed contract, who I frankly wonder if he was ever on the Seahawks radar or vice versa...

Well Ponder doesn't throw deep much so a 2 TE scheme for them allows them the possibility of moving the ball. They really need a couple of WRs badly and an OLine.

That article is pure hyperbole. There are no quotes from anyone backing up his assertion. Simple speculation on his part.

But they already have 2 good TEs in Shiancoe and Rudolph. That's what surprised me

Shiancoe is a FA. In fact, some have linked him to Seattle as a 2nd TE because of the Bevell connection.

Looks like Williams is set to become a Bill. The Bears have said they're out, the Falcons are looking at re-signing Abraham, the Pats just signed a DE from Cincy, the Jags re-signed Mincey, and the Hawks are looking at Jones. Don't see too many suitors left out there. Tennessee maybe?
