Besides re-upping most of our own guys a QB like Matt Flynn and DE-Mario Williams and possibly a sleeper legit 3 tech would be sweet. I'm hopeful to see some quality OLine help like Grubbs or Nicks or another, and maybe another premier WR.

Gibson & Lewis weren't tendered, and are therefore UFAs.

I think in the likely event we miss out on Mario and Flynn we might be players for someone big that on the surface might be surprsing.

Nicks would be one candidate, Grubbs, or another top WR. Maybe not a Jackson but someone slightly cheaper like Lloyd who I consider a legit #2 WR.

Isn't the team really looking for legit #1 guy, the guy that Rice will never become? Brandon Lloyd wants to be in NE and has indicated he will be cheaper for them.

I agree about Nicks and Grubbs.

Chad Henne coming to visit according to Danny O'Neil of the Seattle Times.

And Jason Jones (Tennessee DE) to visit according to Eric Williams of the TNT. Jones is more of a 5-tech in the mold of Red Bryant than a Leo.

Chad Henne visiting seems to indicate that we are not going after Flynn and are sticking with a competition at QB.

I think we are still a team that wants to have Mario Williams in for a visit.

I really like Jason Jones who is a very effective situational 3 tech.

Are you speculating on Roy Lewis or has there been something out there that indicates that he'll be gone? Because if there hasn't been anything concrete, I'd personally think the Hawks would like to keep him for depth purposes.

    RED BRYANT!!!

Management continues to do a very good job of keeping the core guys we actually want back. I like that we're pretty much sticking with mid to late 20's types to.

This on again off again with Flynn is getting old. Hope that doesn't last too long but excited to see how it all plays out.

John Clayton (710 ESPN Seattle) mentioned that Seattle may see where the numbers are for Flynn before getting truly involved. The whole Peyton Manning being unresolved is leaving Flynn's value as a question mark as well. Makes sense for both sides IMO.
