Looks like they did something funny with the cap during the "uncapped" year and they are getting penalized for it. If they were warned about some rules and they broke them, then it is what it is. More fuel to the RGIII trade haters since cap room was one of our arguments on the pro-trade side.

It's sounding like the reasoning is because we frontloaded contracts for the uncapped year. Isn't that called smart book keeping? This is ridiculous and hurts at a time where it looked like everything was falling into place. I need to hear more info on it, but this seems wrong to me. Very wrong. What's the point of having an uncapped year if you can't use it to your advantage? There goes our cap relief. Back into a spending corner.

Looks like the other NFL owners cried foul. AGAIN, Boo Freakin' Hoo! They used it as an advantage to clear space. Sounds like smart book keeping. This pisses me off to no end!!!!!
18 million less in cap space for 2 years then all other teams in the league is a DEVASTATING blow. We just went from signing 4-5 free agents to maybe 2.
This team is cursed...

Apparently they were told not to do this and they still did. Might have a legal battle coming up. The boys in the front office ain't that dumb when it comes to stuff like this. But if they outright broke the rules, then they should be punished.
