    Pats Draft Board

Did anyone else notice that during the interview with Bellichick on the Quick Slants Draft Special on CSN they appeared to show a TON of the Pats draft board? From what I saw (paused on DVR), you could see their ratings for some of the QB's, and most of the players for G, DE, DT (order, but not the scores), NT, OT, C, WR, TE, FB and even their top two kickers.

Since its the Pats, at first I assumed it was a total smoke screen, but it looked like an awful lot of work to put in for about 5 seconds of air time that maybe wasn't supposed to happen...

If it was a Belichick draft board, there must have been a lot of erasures and arrows going up, down, left and right.

Care to take a snapshot of it off your DVR and post it here? We could compare how things shake out to the board and see if BB tipped his hand.

I'll try to put up either screen caps or pictures of it later tonight after I get home....

I have pics, but can't seem to attach them, so here are the names/numbers that you could see:

QB - you couldn't see the top of the list, but I assume it was Gabbert. After that:
Locker - 8.something (not on screen)
    Newton - 7.990
    Mallett - 7.712
    Dalton - 7.185
    Ponder - 6.709
    Enderle - 5.936
    McElroy - 5.571
Devlin - 5.578 (yes, higher than McElroy)

I'll post the rest of the positions next...

    DE
    Dareus - 8.652
    Quinn - 8.519
    Jordan - 8.494
    Clayborn - 8.301
    Watt - 8.243
    Wilkerson - 8.176
    Heyward - 7.937
    Bailey - 6.978

    Matthews - 5.542
    Allen - 5.531
    McPhee - 5.038
    Klug - 4.227

    NT
    Taylor - 7.814
    Austin - 6.859
    Jenkins - 5.832
    Neild - 5.448

DT (the scores were off the screen, so I just have the order)
    Fairley - Aub
    Liuget - UIl
    Siliga - Utah (seriously!)
    Ballard - Iowa
    Casey - USC
    Ajiboye - SCar (again seriously!)
    Nevis - LSU
    Guy - AzSt
    Larimore - SCar
    McClaine - SFla
    Parker - Richmond
    Taylor - Okla
    Thornton - Ark St

Based on the DT rankings I think there are guys that they rank higher than what I've seen on any boards (Siliga, Ajiboye) that they may target.

That was all, no LB's (which I really wish was on there), DB's or RB's, and I could see two names for kickers (Weber and Byrum), but don't think that's going to be of any impact over the next few days...

God, I hope we don't take an OL at 17. Solder has an awfully high grade according to that board. Please god no! 100 bucks says thats the pick at 17.

Like a lot of the comments on that story, I'm not sure I buy it being the PFW board. I'm not saying it's definitely the Pats board, or even a remotely current version of it if it is, but I would be really surprised if PFW puts together that detailed a board for "demonstration" purposes (what are they demonstrating, and who are they demonstrating it to?). I'd also be surprised if Curran or PFW wouldn't be willing to, ah, fudge the truth to keep favor with the BB and company.

I'd be very surprised if it was the Pats board and if it was there was probably a reason behind it. It's not like it would be much work for PFW to create the board. A couple interns could do it in no time.
