Favorite Beer(s) ?

Just wondering. I am tired of Vodka these days, so I am switching for a while. I have not been into Beer in a long time. Black and Tan's used to be a favorite of mine. Actually had a Miller Lite for the first time ever a couple weeks ago and it wasn't bad.

I need to try some new stuff.

Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA (or 90 minute if you want to get really sh!tfaced). The 60 minute is 6%, while the 90 minute is 9%.

Their "Indian Brown Ale" is also top notch.

All the Shiner beers, though I've gotten funny looks anytime I have tried to order one outside of Texas. I forget that it's regional.

New Belgium makes some good beers also.

Rochefort Trappistes 10. But I don't buy it too often.

When I'm not in a domestic sort of mood but not really in a craft sort of mood, I like a couple Newcastle Brown Ales.

Most of the beers I like are local microbrews. A good IPA is where it's at. They have a Triple IPA that they serve here locally at Marble Tap room seasonally that is probably the best beer I've ever had. Two pints, and your knees get wobbly. National beers I like include Stone Ruination IPA, and SKA's Modus Hoperandi IPA.

Green Flash's West Coast IPA is my favorite non 3HB beer.

You guys who like Arrogant Bastard should really try Ruination if you haven't already. Much better IMO. Of course, one sixer runs about $17.

I miss Yuengling. That was my everyday beer when I lived in Baltimore. Can't get it in Houston (hey maddencutter, much to my surprise, I could get Shiner at my local liquor store in Baltimore; but I can't get Yuengling down here. )
