    Tip My Hat

To Mike McCarthy and his staff for keeping this season from being a complete dissaster. 2 weeks ago this season could've gone either way but MM was able to rally the troops and get us to to a point where we are now in position to make the Playoffs.

There's a long way to go against some quality teams but I blasted the job he had done a couple of weeks ago, for good reason, so I want to congratulate him for the job he and his staff have done recently.

    TT is still another story!:D

Slocum was a mistake. I am sure he knows that now, he shouldve gone out and gotten an experienced teacher instead of going loyal with someone on staff. Woodson and Tauscher have really saved the season in my opinion. Tauscher has given Rodgers the time to go through all his reads and he is very good at that. (If only Lee and Grant could catch the damn ball). Woodson on the other hand is like Polamalu in Pittsburgh. He's everywhere. Almost singlehandedly saved the season.

As I've said in a couple of posts Mikey can redeem himself with me and all fans continuing to coach the Pack if he can pull the team together and make the playoffs. Well, Mikey, here's to you. So far job pretty well done. But when is he gonna stop giving up on the run game when it's actually producing. The Lions did nothing to stop us and Grant was running real well and "BOOM" no more running plays. You would've thought we were playing from behind. He also needs to get a little smarter with his play selection in certain down and distances. But, can't knock 3 straight. Baltimore and @ Chicago become very big for the final playoff push. Here's hoping we run the table and end up like Pittsburgh's WC super Bowl run. Champs. It's the NFL and anything can happen. That's the scary part.

The Dallas win was impressive, but many reports credit the win to the players only meeting following the Bucs loss.

Wins against San Fran and Detroit don't impress me. You are suppose to win games you are favored.

Win against the Ravens and I will be impressed.

tip my hat to 1. mccarthy for the bold coaching changes he made during the offseason and 2. dom capers for being the biggest reason for the turnaround.

i have to say, a top 5 offense and defense is pretty impressive.

as for tt, this does not absolve him, but i am really impressed with this year's rookie class. matthews is going to be a pro bowler and raji is starting to come around. jones, lang, underwood and johnson look to be solid backups at worse and potentially regular starters (especially lang). this could go on to be a special draft class in my opinion.

You have to hand it to McCarthy and the veterans on the team for stepping up, and making the most out of this season. We were a team on the brink of a collapse after the loss to the Bucs, and they responded. Resigning Tauscher and putting him into the starting lineup has been huge. He has never been a pretty player, but the guy just gets things done. I actually think that missing training camp and off season workouts with the team probably did him good, it allowed him time to heal up.

Vegas odds don't mean much other than to even out betting. I will be impressed if we win tonight. Ihaven't talked with many people that agree with the Vegas line.

    Yah, that was wicked cool.

Well, it's official, we are stuck with McCarthy for another year, and for those of you who wanted Ted gone, I think he's staying now as well.

Yeah, but if we're winning no one will complain. After a 6-10 season and starting 4-4 with 2 losses to Minn and the low point at TB, everyone should've been concerned.

I started the thread as a compliment to McCarthy, he deserves a lot of credit for what has happened the last 5 weeks.

does that mean we're stuck with this top-5 offense and no. 1 defense too? oh no!
