    Anyone have a good idea on how to shrink Hats?

    I got a hat from my aunt, and well i really like it and dont wanna return it.. Its one size fits all and i'm not too sure how to shrink it.. Im pretty sure its 85% Acrylic.... Its a hurly hat if anyone cares lol

    An easier thing may be to take that stuff Bonds is on and just have your head grow into the hat.

    Don't think that acrylic shrinks. Might find a seamstress to rip it and re-sew it.

    If its acrylic, it aint shrinking.

    I'd get it wet (That's what she said) and throw it in the dryer for an hour or two...

    How about shrinking hats that are 84% nylon? lol does that shrink?

    I'd try that. May be a nice hat, but it's nothing unless you can wear it. I remember seeing something where you'd put your hat in the dishwasher top rack? Now that I think about it, I have a hat that is too big and will go home tonight and try it.

    1) fill it with cement
    2) stick your head in to get a perfect fit.
    3) Let dry
    4) place on head and walk off in style
