Samuel and Scrabble were a push to me. Tiebreaker was the fan in me. Asomugha has really, really stepped up his game this year. Fabian Washington, too. I just wanted to get one of them some recognition.

Adalius Thomas better not get snubbed again this year.

Thomas has a tough road to hoe.

The AFC is littered with strong candidates at OLB:

Shawne Merriman
Shaun Phillips
Joey Porter
David Thornton
Mike Vrabel
DJ Williams
Cato June
Derrick Johnson
Ian Gold
Angelo Crowell
Rosevelt Colvin
Keith Bulluck
Eric Barton
Clark Haggans
Bart Scott

You can only vote for two.

Thomas would be a fine pick. But Scott would be, too.

Understood. It just seems to be very tough for rookies to make the pro bowl. Plus Parker's next 2 games are TB and Cleveland at home, he should rack up big numbers.

LOL, if you say so, sport. Now I've heard it all....the Cardinals poor defensive play is due to Wilson?!??! I'd suggest you turn on the tube and watch a game or two before making assesments in the future, bud.

And before someone calls me a homer for putting Kasay up there over Gould, let me explain my reasoning. Yes, Gould is an impressive 26/27, but he hasn't even attempted a FG of 50+ yards in his 2-year career(much less made one). Kasay is 18/20 this season, but his only misses are from 53 and 65 yards. I think elite kickers should be able to make long field goals, can Gould do that? Another thing, has Gould actually had to make a pressure kick all season? Kasay has a game winner this season for what it's worth.

This is pretty damn on point for me too. Only notable changes I'd make are:

AFC TE's: Winslow & Gonzales
AFC SS: Sean Jones
AFC FS: Ed Reed
NFC WR: Donald Driver (instead of Darrell Jackson)
NFC ILB: Nick Barnett (instead of Chris Draft)

Stats can be deceiving, but there is no way Ed Reed should be in the pro bowl over Kerry Rhodes...

Kerry Rhodes: 80 tackles, 4 sacks, 3 int, 6 PD, 3 FF, 1 FR
Ed Reed: 39 tackles, 0 sacks, 2 int, 2 PD, 1 FF, 0 FR

Textbook voting on a name, not how a player has played.

I was extremely impressed with Rhodes at the Bears/Jets game.

Man Lee Evans is/was so close.. damn good for nothing McGahee & O-line that force JP to have games with under 100 yards passing ... Yes it's true, i'm not blaming JP anymore because i see his upside.. It shames to admit how mediocre our 0-line is. But not to derail the ProBowl thread..

Aaron Schobel needs to be on some list..The dude is all-balls! to many here's surprise i don't make excuses for the Bilsl & their players often but Schobel is the bright spot on our D-line. It really hurts stats that the D is always exuasted because the offense is in CONSTANT 3 & outs.. I don't even know Schobels sack stats but i've a feeling their not top 5 in the AFC. Does run support count towards pro bowl recognition? I doubt it.. I don't mind him under the radar.. Phins & Jet fans will prop him, and i know Pats fans & Matt Light will too..<Works for me...

--Brian Moorman and Shane Lechler are both awesome. Moorman Buffalo, Lechler Oakland..lol But in Lechlers defense i do believe he would still own in teh wind & cold.. Moormans stats imo are easily #1 in the NFL right? He did pretty much win the Phins game for us.. Well besides Culpepper sucking..

-Jason Taylor is awesome. Man Jimmy Johnson is freakin amazing at drafting gems in mid-late rounds. JT is such a unique DE with his speed, strength & toughness,leadership..

I wouldn't really have a beef with any of those changes, the AFC tight ends in particular were really hard to decide on.

I almost put him, but I never see the bills play (see the chiefs way more than I want), and Allen is a very impressive complete young DE (something rare anymore) that just seems to have a knack for making a big play at the right time.
