Not crazy about them. Looks too much like the Rams IMO.

I wouldn't be too worried, though. The copyright date on the bottom is from 2004.

I noted the picture said "concept one" for all three. Hopefully, the next concept will be better.

Not ideal, but compared to other uniform redesigns around the league, it could be much worse. BTW, the date on the concept drawing is March 2004. I don't think this is the direction the team is going in.

These were done in 2004 according to the design tag. I have a gnawing suspicion that then ones will see in in a few weeks will be a lot more hideous.

Under no circumstances should fans allow the Vikings to use two helmet logos! The new one being contemplated in design is simply trash.

The unis themselves are nothing special but I do like the attitude on the horn. Even if it loses a bit of nostalgia, at least people will clearly see what it is. I'm still amazed at how many people don't get that it's a horn from a vikings helmet.

I wouldnt mess with the helmet, unless it was just to add a little more slant to the horns, make em look sharper or something. Thats one of the coolest helmets in sports.

I wouldnt mind losing the old Viking face in favor of maybe a Viking style shield with two nordic style axes crossed. I've never been a big fan of that face on all our stuff. The weapons and shield, would seem better suited.

I actually like the unis. The helmets kinda suck though.

I don't think they are the redisns though. I saw these elsewhere a few weeks back.

that was my first thought. the number look like the ravens numbers and i HATE those numbers. hopefully this is just all a bunch of BS. they're not completely horrible (i.e. the bills new unis), but they could do better.

Simplicity of uniform design is one of the reasons that the Vikings retain the feel of the "old school" franchise. There are precious few of these left. Do you see the Cowboys putting a halo over there star? Or they hated Bears or Packers jacking with their helmet designs. Leave everything the way it is, please!

Do you like the Fl. St. unis? I think they are classics. Do you like Penn St? I think they are boring as crap. Just curious.

One more question for everyone. I wouldn't mind at all keeping the unis very similar to how they are now. But, I was suprised that I didn't hate the yellow pants one shown above. Anyone else think yellow pants (ala the Steelers) would look OK?
