Trade Idea's

I have what I think is a very strong RB corp in:

F. Gore
M. Forte
R. Rice
S. Slaton

Slaton may have hurt himself with his fumbles while Forte finally showed up. Gore was injured but showed he's back and Rice has been a beast all year.

Anyway, I could use a better #2/#3 WR so which RB besides Slaton can I "afford" to trade. I currently lead my division but am 3rd overall and 3rd in total points scored.

Who might be a good WR to target?

PPR League with 6 PTs per TD and 1 PT per 10 yards.

Current WR's are:

R. Wayne
TJ Houshmandzadeh
DeSean Jackson
M. Manningham

I actually like your WR's. Whenever you can have TJH as your #3, that's pretty good, although he hasn't done much yet. Regarding your question, it's tough to say. Maybe you can help us help you by listing the WR's on a team that you're targetting. Maybe a team that has a bunch of good WR's but needs a RB. Slaton, although his stock is down, you might be able to package him with Mario (while his stock is up) for a better WR. I wouldn't try and get too cute though because you're not that bad off with your WR's

Right now I'm limited to perhaps S. Holmes (I have Roethlisberger) and S. Smith of the Giants.

Both have weekly averages almost indentical to Manningham and Housh. Holmes would seem to make the most sense because I have Big Ben but my question/concern is; will Holmes put up better numbers from here on out?

Housh is on a bad team.
Manningham and the Giants are going backwards or will they right themselves?
I won't trade DJax or Wayne unless I am wowed by something and that isn't likely to happen in our league.

Perhaps I am better off leaving things alone....????....

Check Forte's remaining schedule ... it might be murder on him:

AZ (8th vs rush)
SF (2nd)
PHI (12th)
MIN (7th)
STL (5th-worst)
GB (9th)
BAL (4th)
MIN (7th)
DET (21st)

If it were me, I'd trade him before he reverts back.

Thread hijack alert!

That trade makes no sense for you.
IMO, I'd sell high with Favre and DWilliams and look for a stud RB.

I agree with the baby, here. This trade makes no sense for you. And you jacked the thread.

As for the OT, if you take away 3 of Gore's TDs (the long ones), he's rushed for 141 yards on 62 carries. I know he should have had a 7 or 8 yard gain on the 64 yarder against the Colts, but broke it due to 2 players tackling with their shoulders. I could be wrong, but I think one of his 80 yarders against the seahawks had some bad tackling as well.
