Trade Advice which RB?

14 Team PPR league.
Start QB, 2RBs, 3WR's, TE D and Kicker
My Team is:
Q - Matt Schaub (Palmer backup)
RB's - Ray Rice, M. Lynch, Reggie Busch
WR's- Andre Johnson, Miles Austin, Steve Smith (car), Mike Wallace
TE - Cooley (inj) and M. Lewis
D - SD, SEA

Trade offer is Alex Smith and (pick one) Brandon Jacobs OR Ryan Grant for Carson Palmer and Marshawn Lynch

First do I make that trade? I am not going to get much more for Palmer in my League as everyone is pretty set at QB...
Are Brandon Jacobs and or Ryan Grant that much better then Lynch? and if yes...How do you rank the RB's in question? Do i go for Brandon anticipating a LOT of upside? Also note that Ryan Grant has already had his Bye week.....

Thanks!

I don't make that trade. Remember, Schaub hasn't been the picture of health so you could use Palmer one of these weeks.

Lynch is going to get better as he gets back in football shape and Fred Jackson owners are already struggling because of this. However the Bills are inconsistent and Lynch may falter some weeks. However, it's no different than how Jacobs has played or Grant for that fact.

Counter w/Palmer for A. Smith and Brandon Jacobs or A. Smith and Ryan Grant. Jacobs may be the more realistic option as perception has Jacobs the better runner. At the end of the day A. Smith is just that, a fantasy back up whereas Palmer is a fantasy starter for many owners. That's how you need to approach that owner. In fact, play it up as Smith is just a body and you pray Schaub doesn't get hurt.

Sell it brother! Hope this helps.
