I think Thomas is going to be better then anyone could have imagined because to me, the pro level coaching is all he needs to refine his skills. Ryan Clark will be in trouble because of Thomas.
When Thomas was drafted, that was preparatory for Clark's departure. He's all ready practicing up for his after football career with all these twits and comments as of late.
I think Eifert was a wasted pick. Bengals needed to address the O-line and secondary. I'm still waiting for this "new wave" of TE system to translate to winnning a Super Bowl. It hasn't.
Jerry clearly is out of control. And he undermined Garrett after the first round by saying that Frederick is going to be the starter. You don't do that.
Colbert says that Bell was the best runningback in the draft. You have to trust in Colbert. Bell is going to be a beast. And that Weaton kid from Oregon, he's a stud too.
Steelers are adopting a zone blocking scheme. With that said, Bell is a perfect "one cut and go" type of running back. I've seen tape of Bell, and he freakisly reminds me of Arian Foster. And what...
Jones was the best LB prospect in the draft. And he's mean and will put a lick on you too. What's not to like? You needed a linebacker, so you got the best one in the draft.
I'm very happy with the Jones pick. And...............there was no runningbacks taken so when Colbert's pick comes, he'll have a couple of good options to choose from in the second round.
This was great for you guys! A division rival took a TE with their first round pick. I just don't believe in taking a TE with a first round pick. You can find a decent TE in the later rounds.
Patterson also is as dumb as a bag of rocks too from all reports. So you got a guy who can't recognize how to sit down in a zone defense because he can't recognize it. Gzzzz
