Did Raid move?
That level of hate shows the Pats are still relevant and still damn good.
Neal suspended 5 games. No news on Thornton but I expect 6 - 8. maybe 10.
Orpik seems to be just fine, no concussion symptoms.
The hit should have been called a penalty because Erikkson never made contact with the puck and wasn't attempting to make a play on the puck (his looking back at the puck doesn't count, IMO).
Orpik got him in the head. I'm not sure if that was his aim or if Erikkson went low as Orpik made the hit.
I have much hockey love for Antti Niemi.
Frustrating win but an even bigger frustration with the loss of Gronk.
No Gronk, no Mayo, no Wilfork, playoffs will be very short.
In what way? At what point is Orpik making a play for the puck?
Charging a guy that isn't looking is not the same as pulling a guy down to the ice (which was fine). Any actions by Thornton after that deserve suspension.
We'll see if the second half effect is in play with their first possession coming out of half.
Poor showing (again) so far.
Oh, and playing crappy against a weak opponent- typical Patriot way in 2013.
What is with the ugly camera angles?
Where does Raid fit here? He started a Christianity related Sunday thread after conversion from being atheist.
They're not saying you can't protest, just that free speech comes at a set price.
He's a douche but he didn't deserve a knee to the head when he was already down.
He's not and that's just some uninformed knee-jerk reaction on your part. Thornton has a role and he's played it...
You should be watching juniors level hockey because you clearly have a difficult time understanding the way the game is played at the pro level. Guys fight, people cross check, slash, high stick,...
Orpik hits Erikkson with no intention of playing puck and Neal gives Marchand an intentional knee to the head and the Bruins are a bunch of thugs? Get a grip on your inappropriate outrage. Thornton's...
The only reason I am a little hesitant is the condition of his hips but for what he did and can do for Boston, 2/32 is not too much money.
He reportedly had a pulled groin which impacted his ability to push during delivery.
No worries, just thought sopmething was flying over my head.
I think he was projected to go 3/$15 so the Sox got him for shorter years and fewer dollars. If he pans out, he gives Koji and Tazawa...
Mujica threw 60+ innings last year with 46Ks and 5 walks.
Farrell likes his control guys.
Am I missing something? Mujica throws R. Was there some subtlety that escaped me?
And FTR, I like this move. Workman to the rotation?
Palin should have won the punch-off.
To effect some people.
