The demise of the Squirrels is a rumor
 

Yes, my Squirrels (the 2nd highest scoring team in the league) have somehow found a way to drop 4 games in a row. But the rumor of our demise is just that and we are far from done. The team is back to twice daily, full contact practices. While you are spending Thanksgiving with your families, the Squirrels will be studying film and reviewing the last four games. Losing will no longer be tolerated.
Management will be working the phone lines to ship off the complainers for those who are ready to get Belligerent and win this league. The losing will no longer be accepted. The time for crying will be saved for our opponents.
You may not like what we have in store for you, but it's going to be a long, hard Winter and we plan on spending it with a championship trophy to drink from as we roast the nuts of our victims over an open fire.
We will win the next three games and enter the playoffs with an attitude that will make our opponents not just fear the loss, but how badly they will be defeated.
Here me now and remember me later.....fear the Belligerence.

I'm right with you PNC! I can't seem to win to save my life. I play (arguably) the best team in the league this past week (Knuckleheads), and lose by 3 points. That isn't the sad part. It was the fact that my two "big guns" (Lewis and Green) combined for a whopping ONE point! (Thanks guys! :rolleyes: )

Anyhow, my team did this last year and I found a way to finish second in the league. I still think my team can hang with anyone (provided they are healthy! :rolleyes: )

I started out hot in the other 3 leagues I'm in. I then hit a mid season slump in all 3. Having Moss in 2 of them was part of this slump problem. Running out of luck was part of the problem in the third. In this league its been just the opposite as I'm astounded to be 5-4 right now, having won 4 in a row, while being near the bottom in scoring. Been a crazy year so far both in the NFL and in fantasy football. I guess thats part of what makes it so fun...the total unpredictability.
